Our wine is handcrafted without sulfites, fining, or filtering to carefully reflect the characteristics of each vintage. Some sediment is to be expected for a true wine experience.

Vintage 2007

During the late spring/early summer the temperatures were above moderate resulting in grape development uniformity. At the end of summer, the temperatures again rose above the norm and shorten the growing season by several weeks and avoiding the fall rains. The results are beautiful grape clusters with intense flavors. Currently, we are working on Syrah, Merlot, and Chardonnay for the 2007 vintage. A barrel tasting took place in late June with a solid thumbs up of all three wines. The malolactic fermentation finished the wines beautifully. We have bottled this wine for the first lot after 24 months in the barrel.

Vintage 2009

The season was started good with a long dry and warm spring. The summer extended into the fall with a minor rain just before harvest. We were able to harvest just prior to the frost damage occurring with the exception of the Riesling with ended up with Brix at just desirable levels. The crush and fermentation went very well with some finishing up malolactic fermentation as we speak. The cold winter has set in and the wine is starting it's clarification process. All barrels are being topped and progressing nicely.
