Thrall & Dodge Winery began producing wines with the mission of creating the perfect blends of vineyard, grapes, and style. The true value of our wines is in the time spent producing the small lots. Through hard work, sweat, and dedication to quality you will find a unique individual taste. We refuse to push our wines out the door just to make delivery schedules. But instead we wait. Sometimes it seems forever. From the moment the grape is picked, it is on its own time.
The first thing you notice at Thrall & Dodge is that it's a labor of love. It is also the family and friends that make the labor of love easier. The unique setting, hand crafted buildings, vineyards, family and friends all speak of care, attention, and hard work. That passion comes through in the fine wines produced by this small family operation (less than 500 cases of wine per year).
We learned how to make wine in Washington State when there were only a handful of wineries. We dug vineyards by our hands, we weeded with our hand, we made wine with our hands. From this we learned that hard work makes good wines, and sweat and dedication make great wine. That passion is in every bottle and when that bottle is open, then and only then is when the romance begins.
